This year's “Terner Schmelzpfandl” begins on Saturday, 18th April with the sowing of traditional cereal varieties on Terento's Kirchacker (church field).

You can watch and experience the following farming processes performed with traditional tools:
- „Eare fiehrn“ Earth is transported in a special cart from the bottom to the top of the field.
- „Baudn“ Two teams of horses are used to plough the field.
- „Egn“ A harrow is drawn by horses over the ploughed field in order to break up the clods.
- „Sân“ Barley, wheat, oats, flax, poppies and peas are sown by hand.
Terento's women farmers will pamper you with home-made delicacies.
At the Mills festival, on 1st August you can watch how grain is ground into flour. We are looking forward to counting you among our visitors!
